Tour of Barcelona Port + entry to Museo Marítimo

Information

On the 40′ itinerary, you’ll see the Maremagnum, the Porta d’Europa Bridge (an impressive drawbridge), the Clock Tower (the old lighthouse from the era of Charles III), the Sideroploide (a 1963 abstract sculpture by Salvador Aulèstia, made from sea-recovered steel), and stunning views of the castle and Montjuïc hill, home to Barcelona’s current lighthouse (inaugurated on December 1, 1906), the W Hotel, and the “Port Vell”. The Golondrina boat also sails through the commercial docks and past the cruise ships docking in Barcelona, the fourth largest cruise port in the world.

This discounted package includes entry to the Barcelona Maritime Museum.

The Barcelona Maritime Museum is a unique space dedicated to maritime heritage and culture. It is housed in an exceptional building: the Royal Shipyards of Barcelona, a Gothic-style architectural complex built from the 13th century for the construction and maintenance of galleys.

Through models, nautical objects, real boats, and other pieces from its collection, the museum offers a rich and captivating journey through maritime culture for all audiences. Among its main highlights are a full-scale replica of a 16th-century galley and the Santa Eulàlia schooner, a historic vessel open for visits in the port. For more information, visit: www.mmb.cat
